Midland excerpt ( a Polk County Florida paper )
We sadly report the death of Mrs. Levicia Sullivan, who has been a sufferer of
dropsy since February last, though for several years she has suffered from an
affliction of the heart that at times has been severe. She leaves a husband and
a large circle of children and grand children who will greatly mourn her loss.
She expressed herself ready and willing for death and left a record of
Christian life for those who mourn not without hope. Her funeral services
were conducted by Rev. Dodson and she is buried by her request near the Eden
Church where she held her membership since the church was organized.
Note by Bobbie Wilson: She is the sister of William Underhill. She had first married Jeremiah Underhill, and he was killed in War. She later married Thomas Sullivan. So her name was Levicia Underhill Underhill Sullivan.
